You are trusting us with your business records. Here is exactly what that means in practice.

What we hold
Your account details: name, email address or phone number, and the businesses you belong to.
Your business records: products, stock, customers, suppliers, invoices, payments, and accounts. This is your data, held so that we can show it back to you.
Technical records needed to run the service securely: sign-in times, and a log of changes made inside your account so you can see who did what.
What we do with it
We use it to provide the service, to keep it secure, and to answer you when you contact us. That is the whole list.
We do not sell it. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not read your books in order to market to you.
Your customers’ information
When someone buys from your storefront, the details they give belong to your business, not ours. We hold them on your behalf so you can fulfil the order.
You decide what your checkout asks for. Asking for less is usually the better choice, and the default is the minimum.
Keeping it safe
Each business’s records are kept strictly apart from every other business’s. Access requires being signed in and holding the right permission.
Sensitive values are encrypted where they are stored. Access to the systems that hold your data is limited and recorded.
No system is beyond risk. If something happens that affects your data, we will tell you what happened rather than manage the wording.
How long we keep it
Your records are kept for as long as your account is open, because they are the service.
Activity logs are kept for a limited period and then removed automatically.
When you close your account, your data is removed after a short window that exists so an accidental deletion can be undone.
Services we rely on
Running the service involves a small number of infrastructure providers — for hosting, for storing the files you upload, and for sending messages you ask us to send. They process data on our instructions only.
Where you connect an outside service yourself, such as a payment provider or a messaging channel, that service’s own terms apply to what it receives.
Your choices
You can export your data at any time, correct anything that is wrong from inside the product, and close your account whenever you want.
